Our History

From 1992 to today, we’ve been servicing the southeastern Ohio area with the very best in beverage products. Originally operating as Miller Brands Southeast Ohio, we began by distributing Miller Brewing Company products and a variety of wines and non-alcoholic beverages to eight Ohio counties.

In 2010, under the leadership of owner Andrew F. Phillips, the company's size increased by acquiring Kerr Distributing of Athens, Ohio and Kerr Wholesale of Chillicothe, Ohio. The move was significant, increasing the company volume four times and the number of counties serviced to 18, creating a consolidated corporation named AFP Distributors, Inc. (dba) Southeast Beverage Company (SEB).

Today, we service 26 counties in central and southeast Ohio (check out our territory map for details), with distribution rights for Molson Coors, Pabst, Diageo, Constellation, and Heineken, plus a growing number of local craft breweries, wineries, and non-alcoholic products. SBC employs 100 people and services over 2,300 retail locations.
